Pivot Cycles

Pivot Cycles mountain, cyclocross and gravel bikes are born from decades of industry experience and bred from a heritage of racing. Founder Chris Cocalis worked the floor in bike shops, raced BMX professionally, built bikes by hand, and saw Titus Cycles to success before turning his full efforts to Pivot Cycles in 2007.

The full Pivot line is developed in-house at their headquarters in Tempe, AZ. Each bike model is conceptualized, designed, tested, abused, and perfected by a small group of engineers, an aerospace Ti welder, and professional racers before it hits production.

At Pivot Cycles, they push frame design and innovation to their furthest limits. They  strive to provide their customers with the stiffest, most responsive, and hands-down best bikes possible.

Customer Feedback

I had an exceptional experience here and would recommend it to anyone. I know very little about bikes. I wanted to buy a road bike so I went over on a Saturday afternoon. Tod spent over an hour with me explaining all the parts of a bike, why some are priced higher, the difference between this material or that. No question I asked was received with an eye roll or in a way that made me feel dumb. Orie helped Tod ensure I had a perfect fit. I test drove 3 bikes before finding the one. They also talked me through clip pedals (my preference). I took all the info down and left. No pressure to buy- even after spending considerable time with me. I wanted to go home and price-compare and research reviews on my selected bike. Needless to say I was back Sunday and left with my new Cannondale Synapse, a helmet and a few other items. There was a young woman there (sorry- I didn't get her name!!) who answered my helmet questions and was an expert in clip pedals. I met the owner as well and all could not be nicer. They installed everything. I even brought my shoes and they put on my cleats. In a total class move- they donated 15% of my purchase to my upcoming Pelotonia ride. Orie walked me to my car, carrying most of my purchases for me, showed me how to load my bike in and out, remove my wheel and just general tips on bike care. From beginning to end it was great customer service!! Do yourself a favor and check out this locally owned biz before going to the big guys! - Kelly Frank
